Engineering & Quality Manager
Bachelors in science, engineering, or technology discipline.
At least 15+ years in a raw material conversion process, fabrication and assembly manufacturing environment (preferably in composites, compression molding, plastic injection molding, tooling based manufacturing). Minimum 5+ years as an engineering manager or supervisor. Demonstrated leadership skills in the development, management, and engagement of engineering staff members.
Expertise with Lean Manufacturing and problem solving tools.
Expertise in product development and product launch processes.
Experience in a Tier 1 supplier to an OEM assembler.
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude supported by hands on technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
Proven track record of initiating and implementing continuous process and cost improvements. Demonstrated competency in understanding financial impacts of engineering scoped activities (capital plans, process layouts, cost improvements, capacity planning and business case development). Expertise with GD&T and understanding customer prints and material specifications. Advanced knowledge and use of TS16949 or ISO9001 quality systems.
